Birkhill castle, full of history and charm, is exclusive for you to use. A stunning setting for your intimate wedding and overlooking the Firth of Tay. Accommodating 28 adults and children, the castle welcomes weddings and special events up to 50 guests. For small weddings, use the chandelier-lit dining room followed by dancing in the ballroom.

Ceremony Locations at the Castle

Inside Wedding Spaces

Depending on the size of your Wedding you can choose a more intimate and relaxed style in our Drawing Room and Library.

For a seated wedding we recommend our Ballroom up to 50 guests for the ceremony and then we shall turn the room around for reception.

For intimate weddings we can also accommodate around 20 guests can have their reception in our chandelier dining room and enjoy dancing the night away in the Ballroom.

Estate & Grounds Wedding Spaces

Should the Scottish weather permit our grounds are simply stunning in which to hold your ceremony. With over 1000 acres from Woodland, to the Walled Garden, front terrace and garden overlooking the River Tay Estuary to your very own private beach – the choice is yours.

Then move into the castle for reception and dancing.
