Birkhill castle offers our guest an array of beautiful bedrooms which are made up of 2 super king premier en suite bedrooms each with a single room. 3 super king and 1 king en suite. 2 super king and 2 doubles sharing bathrooms and for those with children a wonderfully sweet nursery bedroom for up to 6 children. All bedrooms offer quality Egyptian cotton bedlinen, towels, and bathrobes.
Stunning views over the Estate and the River Tay estuary beyond make this a magical setting for an array of events and occasions.
History
The Earls of Dundee have lived at Birkhill since the 18th century. In 1778 an earlier building was replaced by another in the style of Robert Adam; the castle in 1858 becoming itself enlarged and incorporated within the present structure and designed by Scottish Baronial architect David Bryce.
Siobhan’s Trust
Siobhan’s Trust was founded in 2020 in memory of Siobhan (Alexander Dundee’s wife) who died in 2019. A percentage of all guest income paid to Birkhill supports the Trust, which assists a number of causes, however, just now mainly concentrating just now on Ukraine.
